Bio - Lani Nahele

Lani Nahele (aka Lisa Schmidt) danced with the Trisha Brown Dance Company for seven years. She taught and performed in Cologne and Berlin Germany, Teatre de la Ville in Paris, Salvador Brazil, Moscow, Spain…creating duet and group work with collaborators Frey Faust, Ka Rustler, Dieter Heitkamp and Eva Geueke among others. Lani received a commission in Braunschweig Germany for the women’s quintet “Spiral Out”. A certified practitioner of Gyrotonic, Gyrokinesis, Pilates and Body-Mind Centering, she has a private practice at her studio, Studio rEvolution in Florence.
